  It never fails to impress - how few, past and present, have put on a uniform to defend the United Staes against all enemies, foreign and domestic. It truly highlights and makes more special the lives and stories of the men and women who have made, and are making that choice. And from that number, so few have been called to serve in open combat while keeping their oath. The variety of service stories in combat - ground, air, and every MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) there is - also impresses.
